Looking forward to this the closer it is getting. Hope they can shift the rest of the tickets though,

Score first and we go through. The Eric's are really not very good, go one up with the crowd behind us and they won't have an answer, imo.

I wonder if Moyes will be really brave and play only 2 holding midfielders...?

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Sc Freiburg - Official Match Thread - Preview
Moyes will instruct the players to keep it tight and not concede first half, then up the tempo 2nd half, which is risky and the wrong way to approach it obviously.

Manuel I think you're spot on. I appreciate it's a cliche but as you say if we score first then I believe we'll go through, if they score first then, like Sunday, it will be an uphill strugle.

I'm hoping that we'll start at a high tempo, but as Roots so correctly says that's not Moyes MO so expect a cautious approach and if it's 0-0 at 70 minutes then Moyes will loosen the leash.

We know we're going out on Thursday dont we? They like a counter attack, we can't break down teams that counter attack.

1-1 draw nailed on. Gutless tactics from Moyes and a nailed on calamity from Aguerd or Mavrowngoalapanos. Cresswell is gonna get roasted if we have to start him.

Then it's season over. Fuck off out of my club Moyes. Cunt.

West Ham win all day long and by a country mile. 3-1 or 4-1 on the night to the mighty Irons.

Play a 3-4-2-1. Three centre halves to shore it up, flying wing backs, two centre mids and two up close to a central Ings.

For me the midfield and attack has to be from the start of the game:

ALVAREZ SOUCEK
BOWEN PAQUETA KUDUS
ANTONIO

Apparently a West Ham win on Thursday enhances the chances of the Premier League getting 5 teams in the Champions League.

If we play like 2nd half on Sunday, we win quite confortably and I will be a very happy hammer.
If we play like the 1st half on Sunday there will be a lot of happy wankers on here saying that they told us.
Which will it be?

Every game is now a heart versus head decision, heart always wants us to win, head says nothing is going to change if we do.

I’ll watch every minute, it’s what I’ve always done, but honestly think it’s got to get worse before it’s getting any better.

The boring cunt will be frightened of us going 2 goals down so expect a boring 70 mins unless they score first. Then he’ll let the dog off the lead and who knows.

Yep I'll be there, as it might be one of the last European nights for a while as the other teams in it look daunting and our chances of finishing at least 7th look slim.

Looks like their overcharging for tickets for European home legs is coming back to bite them. £20 cheaper for the top band and the right scaling down would probably have cost no more than a couple of hundred thousand. 10000 more spending £5 each at the ground reduces that further, then add in the benefit of an enthusiastic full house. Arsenal showed how hard a first leg deficit can be tonight

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Sc Freiburg - Official Match Thread - Preview
Onside - Yep, losing the first leg is never a good idea, all this ''it's only half time'' bollocks is a joke. That said, it would have been worse had the away goal rule still been in place and Freiburg are not very good. I repeat, if we score first I don't see a problem.

Not sure if I'll be watching either.. Hopefully be able to.

Watched the game the other night in a bar in Chaweng amongst yids, city, villa and plastic scouse.. None of them could believe how shit and passive we were after questioning why I wanted Moyes out. It amazes me how other fans can question our fan base when they don't ever watch our games.
